I have two columns of data. Let's say that one is the weight of dogs and the other, cats. The data are reasonally normally distributed although there's somewhat of a right-tail.

I would like to show a distribution curve such that I can show what parts of the curves overlap but indicate that the mean is different.

Does anyone know how I could do this? I did the histogram help stuff but I was only able to come up with something for a single column of data.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have Minitab? Could do it there.
