Guest Chappy
I'm watching the Yankee-Met game and just watched Giambi field a ground ball and get Marlon Andersen out. On his way to the dugout someone from inside the dugout threw a ball toward a waiting Giambi. Why? This is not the first time I've seen this done and was wondering what's the purpose or is there a story behind why it's done?

That way when they go back on the field he can start the warmup.
