The Irish Doggy
I was looking at those the other day. The batteries are next to the pumps on the shelf. I need to get a backup as well.
Dr. Love
I know that there are water-powered backup sump pumps as well. As long as your city water supply is dependable, this may be the more reliable, lower-maintenance option.
rocknrobn26
I know that there are water-powered backup sump pumps as well. As long as your city water supply is dependable, this may be the more reliable, lower-maintenance option. A neighbor of mine has one. During power outages last year it couldn't keep up and his basement flooded anyway. Not to mention, our water costs are outrageous, around $8/1000 gallons (that includes sewer)!
