Bronco Billy
John Lynch and DEN have agreed to amicably part ways. Lynch was unhappy with his playing time in TC so far, and was projecting to be a situational player on run downs only. It's unknown whether the 37 year old Lynch will seek employment elsewhere or retire. link Thoughts: Lynch was a great addition to the team, but had slowed noticably in the last couple of years. I'm not quite sure that I understand what situational play means for a FS - the position has pass coverage responsibility only unless the team is playing a 2 deep system, in which case he has pass first responsibility. In any case, Lynch was a pleasure to watch play when he was on top of his game, both in TB and in DEN. But his eroding skills that forced a move from SS to FS, and then to part time FS may send a signal to him that his time has come. Good luck, John.
