BearcatGreg
I have tix to the 1st round on Friday. I've been to a lot of PGA events, including the U.S. Open, Masters, and PGA Championship. It's not too hard to see action when there are 80 players on the course, but seeing play at the Ryder Cup seems to be a challenge with only 4 groups on the course at any time. I'm interested in suggestions on how to best view other than sitting my butt on the 15th green and waiting 4 hours for the first group to get there. I was there 4 years ago and didn't see much but still enjoyed myself. I would suggest getting there early, get to an early green / teebox watch the 4 groups, go eat / drink and then try and find a similar spot on the course at a later hole. Won't be easy as I imagine those tee boxes / grandstands will be filled but I think you'll be able to do it. Keep in mind that not all will make the 18 green, in fact none may make it there but you know that already. Good luck and enjoy.
