AtomicCEO Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 Peter Gammons was just doing a piece on SportsCenter saying that because of the Republican convention... the Twins are going on a 2 week road trip, and that will make it very difficult for them to overtake the Red Sox for the Wildcard spot. The RNC completely filled up most of the Twin Cities metro and given that the Twins pull fans from all over, the sensible thing to do was leave town.
