TaffKiwi Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 It's a rookie only draft league, 0.5pt/rec PPR 1pt/20 yards rushing/rec 1pt/50 yards passing/returning 6pt/TD, we keep very deep benches. A guy in my league foolishly dropped Tom Brady in this league last week so I grabbed him and I now have my Dynasty QB for the forseeable future but Rivers is my best QB this year (Trent Edwards is my other). Rivers had a nice week for me last week but SD is still the LT show. I've been after a QB to tide me over for this year and maybe give me a shot at the playoffs and I got offered this: Brett Favre + Derrick Ward for Phillip Rivers + Ted Ginn Jr. Favre obviously fits my bill of what I'm looking for at QB and I like Ward, Jacobs is injury prone and he runs well when in for Jacobs. He's an unrestricted FA at the end of the season and I think he's the sort of guy that some team may turn over the keys of an offense to in 2009. Does this seem imbalanced? Would you do it?
