gman62
Question: I have a couple of WRs on free agent lists that have potential and was wondering who you would drop?
the outlaw
I would try to trade either Favre or Cassell for a Tier 2 WR...don't see anyone on your roster that I would outright drop at this time (unless your WW options are really, really good)... Yeah I had no intentions of carrying 3 QBs but couldnt resist Cassel when Brady went down, was hoping for some upside pop but unsure as it may be too early to tell. Have Moss and he suffered last week, not sure if Cassel has the long arm or if it will just take time. I dont want to give up on him too soon. What is your thoughts on DeAngelo Williams, he seems to be fading in favor of Jonathan Stewart? Edited September 17, 2008 by gman62
the outlaw
I wouldn't touch Williams (unless Stewart goes down w/an injury)...Stewart WILL be starting there sooner rather than later...too much talent/potential for John Fox to ignore for much longer... gman62
Yep I agree so do you think Williams is my weakest link? I was looking at WRs Patten, Muhammed and RB Michael Bush (Oak) and Slaton (Hou) Edited September 17, 2008 by gman62
the outlaw
I guess so...but, again he probably has some trade value (particularly to Stewart's owner as a handcuff)...you do have quite a few contingencies at RB (i.e., guys waiting in line for the starting gig)...I think I would try to move some guys via trade before outright waiving them...just my opinion... Cowboyz1
I agree, your roster is solid and unless there is someone on the WW with really good upside or replacement value I would stand pat or trade as suggested above. Good luck
gman62
Yep I tried that and have very few takers, also league is super picky about trades and tends to veto

Actually Im a Cowboys fan as well, nickname is gman as my name starts with G. How bout them Cowboys! Sure glad they escaped Philly with a Win. They always worry me. Would like to see the defense get a bit more scary. Maybe it was just 2 great offenses, Edited September 17, 2008 by gman62

kenya kid 24
I would consider dropping hightower or farve/cassel With the Cardinals airing it out every game like they have it leaves hightower with little touches but he still will give you the goaline carries. Plus he isn't the starter. I do like your qb trio.
