I am getting mixed information on the severity of his ankle injury...

I have read he's out a minimum of 4 weeks....I have also read he drove himself home after the game and the damage is minimal so maybe miss 1 week.

that I am actually concerned about a CHI QB really just sums up my FF season

I live near Chicago and have not heard anything about Orton driving himself home from the game. The injury is a high ankle sprain with no torn ligaments. I've heard four weeks, but offensive coordinator Ron Turner said he was not placing a time table on Orton's return. From what I've heard on sparts radio and read in the Tribune, I'd bet he's out at least three weeks. You think you have it bad...I've got tickets for this weekend's game against the Titans and have to watch my Bears with Rex Grossman! Ugh!

Chicago Sun Times:

Reports that Orton will be out at least a month with a right ankle injury have been exaggerated. A source said Orton doesn't have a high ankle sprain and won't miss four weeks or more, and the team is waiting to see how his ankle responds before getting a better idea about what's expected to be a shorter recovery time.

Doesnt help you for this weeks game Young Bob but maybe helps me a bit ......

Lovie says he isn't a doctor and we shouldn't play doctor either. In other words, they aren't saying anything yet. For now, it's Rex, but the Bears aren't saying for how long. Any guesses are only speculation at this point. Lovie indicated we might get some word on Wednesday.
