We have a wood furnace in the basement and a wood room (holds about 5 cord). Nothin' says luxury like fillin' the furnace while bein' nekked. Nothin' says luxury like fillin' the furnace while bein' nekked. wurd. i took out the old wood bioler last year and added to the basement so no more wood in the house. the insert does a great job of keeping the house at 65 so this is about the only time of year that the gas boiler is running. ive gone threw about 10 cord already and im going to be short i think as this has been a colder year than in years past.
