Frank isn't the only one who estimated the damage of this mess wrongly years ago. How many people knew what AIG and other banks were actually doing back then? Frank, Obama, Dodd and their ilk helped to continue to lower qualifications for obtaining loans, and when they were supposed to be providing government oversight, they took campaign donations from Fannie, Freddie, and AIG to look the other way. Now Frank want to basically lower qualifications to obtain bonds. If you can't see the parallel, then well you need to check your vision.
