cdrudge
NEW YORK (AP) -- The NFL will look into teams revealing their draft picks on their Web sites and through Twitter even before commissioner Roger Goodell might have announced the selections. The San Diego Chargers plan to post their picks this weekend on their Web site as soon as they hand in the name card. The information could show up on the site before Goodell gets to the podium. New England also plans to use Twitter to announce its picks in real time. "After the draft, we will review how the teams are announcing their picks and determine whether we need to develop a policy," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Friday. The Patriots already are publicizing how their fans could get draft information before the rest of the football world. "We might even get a few draft picks out via Twitter before they are announced on TV, so any Patriots fans following the draft closely are encouraged to begin following RealPatriots on Twitter," Patriots spokesman Stacey James said. "Of course, this is the first time we are attempting this, so it should be interesting." From CNN Anyone else suspicious of a team has yet to figure out how to submit an honest injury report suddenly able to use modern social networking for the benefit of the fan?
