cffl2323
first, should i start chris johnson against pitt, or reggie bush against detroit week 1? slaton against the jets is my other RB. second, and just an opinion question, but if a league's scoring system gives 6 points for TD's regardless of position why would you not take brees or manning number one, given they will most likely throw 30-35 td's, and the top RB/WR will get you around 15. could possibly be a stupid question, but i'm in a few leagues with that scoring system and peterson still goes number 1. thanks in advance
cffl2323
1. too far away for WDIS questions.2. it's not how much a player scores, but how much they score compared to another at the SAME position. If AP puts up 200 points in a season and the #10 guy puts up 100... and Brees puts up 300, but the #10 QB puts up 225... then the difference in drop off between the #1 RB and #10 RB is greater than the difference between the #1 QB and the #10 QB. ahhhhh, so if the league started 2 QB's then brees would be a no brainer, i assume. Big Country
ahhhhh, so if the league started 2 QB's then brees would be a no brainer, i assume. Not neccessarily a no brainer, it depends on how many teams and how many starters at each position. a 2QB league with a requirement to also start 4 RBs instead of 2 would not change the RB/QB valuations much (well, it probably actually boosts the RBs a bit), depending on league size
