Swampnuts Posted August 9, 2009 Share Posted August 9, 2009 Taking the family on a quick 4 day trip down to Hilton Head. Anyone have any suggestions on must-do's or good places to eat? We're staying @ the Crown Plaza Resort on the beach. I've been to Savannah which is close and full of great restaurants, but I've never been to Hilton Head before. Junkyard Posted August 11, 2009 Share Posted August 11, 2009 Love the place... Been driving down from CT every year for last 5 years. Quiet, laid back... beautiful beach. Great golf if you have time, but plenty to do otherwise. Bike paths across entire island, dolphin tours, fishing, fireworks every Tuesday for the summer, etc. Not sure how old the kids are...
