WashingtonD Posted August 27, 2009 Share Posted August 27, 2009 1) I like your team, very solid and balanced between consistent performers and upside picks 2) McClain is a safe, known quantity for you...but given that you have DDW, PT, and JL and you probably aren't forced to start more than 3 RBs, I like picking up James Davis as a strong bold move in case Lewis goes down with injury and expecting that the Browns are out of the playoffs picture by mid year and they hand the ball over to Davis as the back of the future by mid year....not a certainty by any means, but at least a plausible scenario. Is this a redraft league? What are the starting requirements? What is the scoring system? Those three factors would also help influence whether to make the move and also who to potentially drop... WashingtonD Posted August 27, 2009 Share Posted August 27, 2009 Given you can only start 2 of those RBs and it's a low chance that McClain is going to blow up this year, I'd drop him and pick up Davis, which gives you protection if Jamal Lewis goes down and gives you the guy who at least has a chance to be relevant enough to make you start him a few games mid to end of year.
