sunavagun
Need RB starter help. Will start B.Jacobs, but I'm on the fence w/ C.Johnson facing a tough Pitt DST, R.Grant vs the Bears DST, and I'm leaning towards starting J.Jones at home vs the Rams ... Am I crazy to sit either R.Grant &/or C.Johnson in favor of J.Jones? Thanks in advance
kicker77
If you are going to bench C.Johnson, I would start Grant. Although Jones has a good matchup, I wouldn't start him over those 2. I know CJ has a tough matchup, but it's not like Ten is a chump team, they are right there with Pit in the AFC. That being said, it will probably be a defensive game. Overall, it'll probably end up pretty even between the 3, and if you believe that, then go with CJ, otherwise take a chance with Grant. Jones is a question mark against a Defense that is coming out under a head coach that brought the Giants to dominance. Johnson is in a time share that will yield great numbers for him but I would expect a mild showing on thursday night against the #1 rated defense in fantasy football. Chicago plays the run well, but elite backs have been able to have their way with them. With Rodgers and his WRs keeping the defense honest, look for the now healthy Grant to break a couple of nice runs and hit paydirt at least twice.
