forever in debt to mo lewis Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 bench dwill, portis, or ryan grant in favor of julius jones this week? i know you never bench your studs....its debatable whether or not grant is actually a "stud"...but i did spend a 3rd rounder on him and id expect at least 08 thomas jones like contribution from him this year(where i took jones last year)...his last few meetings against the bears look pretty good and i just like the overall look of the gb offense...i expect things to flow nicely i guess...the question would really be....would anyone bench portis against the gmen for jones? portis has had it rough against the gmen and julius has had some success against the rams( who are down carriker now)....i think its a tough call....ive already left some points on the board last night thanks to bironas..... ts Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Were I to sit any of your other 3 RBs for JJ, it would be Grant ... and while I can see JJ possibly having a "nice" day (80/1 ?) vs STL I've never bought into the idea that he can be relied on at any time for any reason ... so would have a tough time pulling the trigger on starting him as anything but bye week or injury filler.
