myhousekey
I'm not sure why Chris Cooley is getting so little respect this year. I've seen it in almost all of my drafts as well. Cooley caught 83 balls last year (2nd for TE's behind Gonzo) but had only 1 TD. I'd keep Cooley.

What he said!, Can't seem to explain it but there does seem to be a lot more option s at TE than there used to be.
ROYALWITCHEESE
No way! Cooley set career highs in yards and was 2nd in the NFL in receptions in '08. And that was with the offense struggling. Campbell has looked sharp, so I expect more of the same with more TDs. If you want to pick up Finley for trade bait/insurance, I think it's a good move. He should have some good games this year. But in no way should you CUT Cooley to acquire Finley...

I heard something about Cooley only being as good as the Oline which will crumble quick in the season.......here's hoping that deosn't happen!! OCSkins
Also, remember that Donald Lee is still the #1 TE in Green Bay. Finley is just getting a ton of hype because of those 2 TD passes he caught in the preseason. Cooley is a proven Pro Bowl TE who gets tons of looks. SpinalTapp
.....not for long, Finley will be the starter, very soon.....it's no preseason hype. Question is....do you want to drop a guy who has been a proven/solid top 10 TE and is the best receiving target on his team (albeit...the team's offense sucks) for an unproven rookie with great upside? I would not ...but at the same time, I would hate to miss out on the next Antonio Gates. So....I would find room on my roster for Finley another way....by dropping some RB or WR garbage and stashing him. This way, you keep both Finley and Cooley. So, who do you got to throw overboard for Finley? Edited September 13, 2009 by SpinalTapp
