FrigginYank
Hi folks. I've been using this site for the past two years, but this is my first time posting on the forums. Last year was my "rookie" year at fantasy football, so this year I know what I'm doing and have gone into things knowing what to expect and with a bit more preparation. Anyway, I'm in a standard scoring league and I'm having some issues deciding on my flex and TE slots for week 1. First off I'll list my roster so you know where I'm sitting overall. So far for week 1 my starters are: Jay Cutler - QB Ryan Grant - RB1 Ray Rice - RB2 Randy Moss - WR1 T.J. Houshmandzadeh - WR2 Chargers - D/ST Steven Hauschka - K My remaining players are: Mark Sanchez Leon Washington Felix Jones James Davis Chansi Stuckey Hakeem Nicks Earl Bennett Visanthe Shiancoe Jermichael Finley So I've got everything filled aside from my TE and Flex spots. I personally like Finley. I've been watching him and reading up on him throughout the preseason and I think he's going to do very well this season. But Shiancoe keeps improving and now has Favre at QB who loves the TE. Green Bay is at home against the Bears and Minnesota is in Cleveland. Any arguments over why one is a better choice than the other this week would be appreciated. I'm also kinda torn with my flex position and it's pretty much the same story as the TE situation. Washington has looked great in the preseason, but I'm having trouble deciding on whether to use him or Felix Jones since quite a few people have him set for a breakout season. At this point I'm leaning toward Finley and Washington. Any thoughts?
weasel
Go with Shiancoe (better matchup) and Felix Jones.
Spartans91
I also like Felix Jones as your FLEX but I prefer Finley at TE.
