babjeck
I have two receivers that I am not sure which one to start. I already have Andre Johnson so that is a no brainer. First of all here is my starting for my league: Wide Receivers: Receiving TD 6 pts Rushing TD 7 pts Passing TD 8 pts 25 - 49 yds Receiving 1 pt 50 - 74 yds Receiving 2 pts 75 - 99 yds Receiving 3 pts 100 - 124 yds Receiving 5 pts 125 - 149 yds Receiving 6 pts 150 - 174 yds Receiving 8 pts 175 - 199 yds Receiving 9 pts 200 – 224 yds Receiving 11 pts 225 – 249 yds Receiving 13 pts 250 – 274 yds Receiving 15 pts 275 – 299 yds Receiving 17 pts 300 + yds Receiving 20 pts 25 - 49 yds Rushing 2 pts 50 - 74 yds Rushing 4 pts 75 - 99 yds Rushing 7 pts 100+ yds Rushing 10 pts Now I have T.J. House and David Bowe. I am leaning toward T.J because I am not sure what is the status of Cassell on Sunday. My Quarterbacks are Hasselback and Cassell. I was leaning toward T.J. because of Hasselback. Any inputs would be deeply appreciated. Thank you!
Scorcher
I think you mean Dwayne Bowe, with a questionable QB, who is playing one of the Strongest Defenses, compared to the no.1 receiver for Seattle with a healthy(for now) QB, against one of the weakest defenses. JetFanMike
Yeah, but look at it this way -- if Cassel DOESN'T play, Thigpen does -- and Bowe looked pretty good with him last year. Secondly, the Chiefs will probably not be able to run at all, so they will have to throw, and Bowe is obviously their #1 receiver and could easily get 10 catches and 100+ yards. If the Chiefs need to play catchup, they have to throw. If the Chiefs are somehow ahead or close, they still need to move the ball. Either way, Bowe is their best option. The Seahawks could end up way ahead and play ball control, and TJ would not get that many looks. He will share catches with Carlson and Burleson, and they could use Edge and JJones a lot. The other thing is that going with Hasselbeck and TJH is sort of putting all your eggs in one basket. If you expect a close fantasy matchup, I would tend not to do that since if the Seahawks run all day you're screwed twice. If you think you are overmatched, I might start both on the assumption that I need them to connect often to put up points.
babjeck
This did not help since only two people responded and one went with Bowe and the other went T.J. Housh.
