Thews40
You didn't ask for this, but traditionally this would be the day the newbies freak . It's just one week and lots of data to pour over... 2 cents: Trades - If you're deep in a position and have an extra potential star on the bench, trade him, but don't expect the moon. Trades are rare (my experience), because each side wants the advantage and it's hard to find a middle ground. What to do: If you have a guy like Sprolls, Fred Jackson, Bell, Dallas Clark that you really don't need, trade him now. If you wait one more week, the star might not be so shiny. What not to do: Freak out and trade your whole team. Guys like AJ are going to be huge, tough D's don't come by every week and it's a long season. Look for value and take a shot, but don't offer three waiver wire prospects for a stud, or a one-week wonder for a stud with an off game... I hate that. The hardest part is pulling the trigger on a deal you think is a good one, but others would prolly disagree... trust your gut. good luck
Timbo
Good Advice One of our teams has A Johnson and Steve Smith and was worried. I said, "You're golden, don't worry about it." The stars will shine soon enough. I think it was a tough first week for lots of WR's.

Hanson Brothers
Yes even someone like me who has been doing this stuff for 20-years fell to the trap last year. Three weeks in Roddy White was doing nothing, I dropped him for a hot waiver wire pickup. BIG MISTAKE as you know from last year when he went off! Flat out DUMB! Not this year....
