isleseeya
Was leaning towards Portis as figure he has to get going very soon and Lions could be the team he breaks out against or go with Mcgahee ,who has been a very pleasant surprise , vs the Browns who should i start and why ? ReturnToSender
I would try Portis one more week, he doesn't produce this week, he never will
isleseeya
I guess Portis is the play ... but i agree if he does not get his this weekend it may be a long season for Portis Owners ...myself included
kingrah
Personally, I would go Mcgahee...i am a detroit homer(unfortunately) and they looked solid holding Peterson back in the first half! I don;t think they will have a problem with Portis....Hell they may even beat Wash!! I would sit Portis...jmo
jdub!
I'd go with Portis (totally unbiased)
masterwing
Thats a tough one. I live in minny and saw cleveland and detroit play. They were strong in the 1st half as far as run d goes. (Which I suppose most nfl teams are--the good ones take over as the game goes on..)Matchup-wise it doesnt seem like a big difference. So Ill go to team offense comparison in general and man vs man. First off, I erased Portis from my draft board before the season so I am biased I suppose. If its man vs man I say go with Mcgahee. I have more faith in Baltimores offense than Washington's---Regardless of who wins the game-. I know portis is #1, and Mcgahee is 1-2-3? but still, Mcgahee is looking good this year they are going to him, and last I looked he was still healthy-FOR NOW. Good luck Edited September 24, 2009 by masterwing
