Shorttynaz
10 team PPR; 6 pt TDs; 1 pt per 10 yrds rush/rec. I'm pretty well set at WR with Jennings; Wayne; Owens, Housh and S Smith of the Giants. I'm not as solid at RB with Peterson, K Smith, C Taylor & R Rice. I've been offered: B Westbrook, L McCoy, K Winslow FOR T Owens, R Rice (he has McGahee), & J Carlson. So I'd be getting Philly's bum backfield which if healthy is good, and a solid TE in Winslow who looks like he's off to a hot start. Should I do it?? Shorttynaz
That's a tough one. Seems like the TEs are fairly equal. You're basically shifting your flex focus from WR to RB, which is something that I would do. I think it hinges on how you feel about McCoy. Do you think he'll be a good enough starter for when Westbrook is out? I haven't seen any Philly games this year, I'm not sure how well McCoy is doing. That's the thing. I know that he is trying to "buy low" on Owens - and I really hate to give up on Ray Rice for when (not if) McGahee breaks one of his glass legs, Rice is gonna be money. But with McGahee stealing all the TD's (and he has McGahee) Rice's value is mediocre at best. I don't know.. If Westy was healthy, it would be a no brainer - and well, the trade probably wouldn't have been proposed to me.
