CSA81
Yea he sent the trade. But I have never owned or even looked at Slaton. So I know nothing about him. esp. this year. Is he worth it? or not?
captain77
tough call. you have depth at RB and it would leave you with a hurt mcnaab. slaton will be a decent rb this year but if mcnaab goes down you are in big trouble depending on what's on the ww. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?show...p;#entry2968163
CSA81
Yea i was actually bout to edit the post and say that ww is decent at the moment. I was thinking if i do this trade i would go for Garrard. If not him Edwards and Anderson are there also. Looking at everyones roster the only way I wouldnt get Garrard is if someone just grabs him for roster depth. I could tell him to throw Hass in there. He has him on his bench. Idk it sounds a little risky. Mcnabb's supposed to be good to go this week is'nt he?

Henry Muto
A QB for a RB what part of this am I missing ? Not to mention an avg run of the mill QB. I did a draft on Friday and Slaton went in round 2 and Palmer in round 10...do you need any more convincing ?
Henry Muto
Kolb on the waiver wire ? All you would need to do is pick him up and your QB is set for the year.

I was being honest when I said I really knew nothing about him (just hadn't really followed him). But I did know that he was off to a slow start by talking with him and seen a couple posts. That is why I was trying to find out. Thanks for the info tho.
Henry Muto
I am not saying he is going to be awesome the rest of the way but he is still a pretty good RB. He will lose some goal line carries but he should pick up the pace as the year goes on. The thing is QBs are a dime a dozen and Palmer is probably the 12th best QB right now or around there. Hopefully you can get another QB off the wire. Do not trade Moreno...Kolb will be back to back up and will end up either getting cut or you can trade for him with a lessar player in a few weeks. You would need to get some kinda of QB off the wire just in case though. Derek Anderson maybe ?

MnLefty
Given that you're starting 2 RB and 3WR, I'd be looking to upgrade there first. Having that many RB on the bench doesn't do much for you except give you matchup questions. What does he have for WR, or else take Slaton and look to move a RB or 2 for another WR.
