electricrelish
Ideally, I would wait until next week to pickup Chris Wells off the waiver wire, but he is going up against one of the worse rush defenses in the league, so if he shows up, he may not be available again. What sucks is that it is a bye week for a lot of my players, so I can't drop obvious choices like Jason Campbell or Ben Watson. The best option I see to drop is Kevin Walter. However, WR's are pretty valuable as this league is a 12-team PPR league, and we start 3 WRs and only 2 RBs each week. There is no flex. Right now, I think I'm going to stay pat, but this match-up looks good for a breakout game. Week 5 Roster Jason Campbell WAS QB Jay Cutler CHI QB- bye Marion Barber DAL RB Reggie Bush NO RB - bye Tashard Choice DAL RB Marshawn Lynch BUF RB Dwayne Bowe KC WR Greg Jennings GB WR - bye Andre Johnson HOU WR Mike Sims-Walker JAC WR Kevin Walter HOU WR Greg Olsen CHI TE - bye Jeremy Shockey NO TE - bye Benjamin Watson NE TE David Akers PHI PK Denver Broncos DST
baddfish2
I'd drop someone and find a way to pick him Wells before this week; because if he does have the breakout game that some think is possible you'll have him. Plus, even if you didn't want to hold him, you could then trade him and probably get a better return than who you dropped to pick him up. I drafted Wells in a league with very small rosters and lots of talent on the waiver wire; and I'm still holding him because I think he's got huge late season potential. Personally, in looking at your roster and starting lineup requirements, I'd drop Choice, Walter or Shockey to get Wells. Probably Walter first simply because when are you ever going to play Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter in the same game?
