RazPwnsNubs
I asked an expert over at ESPN yesterday and he told me this: "I like SJax this week playing against the Jags and I expect his first score this week. Keep SJax active. I would set your lineup like this: QB- Rodgers RB- A. Peterson RB- S. Jackson WR- S. Smith (CAR) WR- S. Smith (NYG) WR- C. OchoCinco at flex" Should I sit Moreno over SJAX against the Charger's dead-last run defense even if Buckhalter's back? ronkronk
for as bad as the rams are, s-jax has at least been solid producing total yardage each week. i think he continues to be a safe bet for 100 total yards, but if you looking for a homerun, moreno could do a mendenhall on SD mon nite. looking at rest of your lineup, i think you can afford to go for it? RazPwnsNubs
I am starting Moreno right now over SJAX. It bothers me, though, cause SJAX could get his first TD anytime soon, even though the Rams suck.
wildbluefan
Word to the wise.....S JAX is DUE to explode, and I believe this is the week !!!
vikingsfan11
whats that one thing that everyone says all the time when your talking about fantasy football? Start your studs. Itd be one thing if he was against pittsburgh baltimore or miami but he has a good match up against the reeling jags. http://imaginarygridiron.blogspot.com check out my football blog
RazPwnsNubs
Okay in that case, I have to start all of my RBs, AP, SJAX and Moreno. This leaves me to bench one of these WRs - Ocho, NYG Smith, CAR Smith.
Chloroform Rx
I would start SJax over Moreno. I am going to reiterate that he has been solid running the ball and is waiting to explode.
RazPwnsNubs
Thanks for the responses guys, I've updated my poll and added a new question about which WR to bench since I will be starting SJAX.
PIwoosurfer
SJAX39 will be huge this week. never bench the beast. Jacksonville's rush defense only has a decent ranking because of the success teams have had throwing the ball on them. SJ will bust some long runs and I bet my lunch money he scores at least once if not twice. This is coming from a jag fan. I'm in the same boat for WR's. They all have great matchups and potential shoot-outs.all three will post good stats. Steve smith CAR always plays great against the bucs. 85 should have success against HOU. Smith giants is a shoot-out vs. saints. tough call. I'd bench smith NYG if I had to pick one. reason would be because there are other wr's like nicks and mario that may steal the TD's. If its a PPR then maybe I'd bench ocho. good luck.
vikingsfan11
steve smith (THE REAL ONE) and Ocho, bench the imposter vs the saints. please check out my football blog, http://imaginarygridiron.blogspot.com
RazPwnsNubs
I like where this thread is going, I appreciate your responses. I am benching NYG Smith this weekend only because he has less of an upside vs my other receivers and rushers. I am hoping, fantasy-wise, the Saints contain the Giants' receivers this weekend. Vote in the WR poll if you haven't done so, it'd be great to see what everyone thinks.
