Red Storm
Team is below, here is the trade: I give: Chris Johnson and one of the following (S Moss, Collie) I get: Tomlinson, Sproles, Jennings Any thoughts?
MrCarter
I say do it - Jennings would be a big upgrade to your WR core (he's due for some 2008-type games in the immediate future). You can afford to lose CJ with AP/D Will/LT/Sproles/Choice... I'd offer Moss over Collie Edited October 21, 2009 by MrCarter
chappy965
Yes you are...and I love LT. It's becoming clearer and clearer this season that he's not the same guy. You could blame the O-line, too, but either way you keep CJ and pray for help in Tenn.
Red Storm
This is tough, since my team is 5-1. I just don't want to throw away all of my hard work in drafting these players.
nhoops
Jennings has been a disappointment. CJ has underperformed......some weeks. LT is not the same, he may have a good game or 2, but I like CJ better. Who else is availble for WR on the wire? Good Luck, check out my post. jordanzs
I would not want LT & Sproles wasting 2 of my valuable roster positions. Jennings has been lame. And how the heck do you have Peterson, Chris Johnson, and Deangelo on your team? Is this a keeper league???? If not, then to get Peterson, you probably had the 1st pick. Did Johnson & Deangelo really last all the way to the end of the 2nd round? Or maybe you traded. Given that you have Peterson & Deangelo, you could easily deal Johnson for a WR upgrade. I'd do a straight up trade for a better WR than Jennings. Don't delude the WR offering with an LT/Sproles combo.
Red Storm
We are in a 12 team auction league. So, is CJ for let's say Wayne (or similiar) straight up a fair deal?
Red Storm
What about something like Forte and R. White for CJ?
jordanzs
Heck, with your running backs, I'd almost consider giving CJ to just get Roddy White. Getting Forte in there is a bonus.

I'm actually amazed to see that you were able to draft 3 plays with ADP in the top 10...unless it was a keeper league
Red Storm
So, giving up CJ for an upgrade in WR and a lesser performing RB is the way to go? I may even consider CJ for a WR1, but only if I had faith in Tashard Choice as my 3rd back. This decision is killing me.

jordanzs
If White/Forte is too much for the other owner to give up, you could get White/Bradshaw, White/Donald Brown, etc. People are still holding onto Forte like he's got 1st round value. Get a running back like Bradshaw, Brown, McCoy, etc, someone who has potential at the end of the season, in case Peterson & Deangelo gets injured. Or maybe even come away with Chester Taylor out of the deal.
