dre-22
Hello everyone, I have proposed a trade of Carson Palmer for Matt Forte. The other team counter-offered Forte for Matt Shaub. We Start 2 Rb's 2 WR's and a flex. To be honest I am trying to steal Forte from the guy for Palmer, his QB's are Josh Johnson and Marc Sanchez. He is 0-6 and im 4-2. I think that I can do better than Forte for Schaub. He also has Roddy White. I could do another offer of maybe Schaub for Roddy White and Forte and include Nicks and or Harvin. What do you guys thinK? My Roster QB's: Drew Brees. Shaub Palmer RB's: Pierre Thomas, Tarshard Choice Maroney (Just claimed) WRs: Andre Johnson Marquis Colston Hakeem Nicks Massaqoui Garcon Percy Harvin Chaz Schillins (Just picked up) TE: Gates K Kaeding D: Steelers: Edited October 24, 2009 by dre-

dre-22
Can I get any opinions at all? Anyone....
ts
Clearly, giving up Palmer is better for you, but since you have Brees - who cares if you instead give up Schaub to a team that is 0-6 in your league? Having Forte available for your lineup seems a better situation for you than having Palmer or Schaub sitting on your bench doing nothing for you. The other deal mentioned (Schaub + Harvin for Forte + White) seems attractive if you can get the other guy to go for it - but if not, I'd still pull the trigger on the original trade unless there is another team in your league willing to give up a RB better than Forte (who has a decent 2nd half schedule IIRC) in return for Schaub. cbraendle
I agree. you need help at RB. your bench QB's are just that. BENCH QB's...they are worthless unless Brees gets hurt. Trade for Forte.
dre-22
Both of you guys are correct. I made the counter-offer of Schaub and Harvin for Forte and Roddy White. If he goes for it... Brees Forte Maroney, Pierre Thomas ot Tarshard Choice at RB2 White at Flex Andre' Johnson Colston Gates Kading Steelers This would be a killer weekly line-up
Pigskin Junkie
Don't get to greedy, if you have to take Forte for Schaub straight up and win while you're hot Palmer is an adequate backup for sure

Scorcher
I would make the trade for White. He's in a mild climate which makes a difference in the Dec. playoffs.
dre-22
OK guys, after several counter offers from the other team and me standing strong along with Josh Johnson having another bad game, he came to his senses and agreed to the trade of: I trade Schaub and Harvin and receive Forte and Roddy White.
