I'm starting Watson this week by default. I lost Cooley to injury, and have Shiancoe on a bye, so I have to roll with the punches. But if I had the choice, I would definitely go with Carlson against the womenly Lions. He and Hasselbeck have to get it going sometime, right? Besides, while Watson has scored twice in the last three games, he hasn't recorded more than 2 catches in a game since week two. That's called low targets, my friend. Carlson, on the other hand, has caught less than 3 passes in a game just twice all season. At least he's more involved in his offense. irish Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 I view both Carlson and Watson as dead even this week and projected them out as so. However, I'd lean with starting Carlson as there seems to be more of a chance that he's targeted more and therefore, has a better chance of producing a better stat line.
