Polian blames OL and special teams

.....but apparently the defense did its job. Polian pls just shut the hell up already, or at least finally admit you really don't know how to build a freakin defense (to say nothing of how the coaching staff ran it in the SB).

I admitted it before the game started. It's close though. I think they play 10 times and it probably ends up 5-5, maybe 6-4 in total wins for either team.

 

Most others were too busy wetting their undies about how Manning was greater than Moses, Jesus, and Buddha combined

To me this screams of someone that is too close to the situation to see the whole picture. The Colts were outplayed and out coached. The Colts philosophy of being safe, being strategic got beaten by a blast you in the mouth and take the game on our terms approach. If a team gave Manning 5-8 yard cushions on our receivers all night, I guarantee he'd carve the field up. Brees is no different, you can't give a QB of his caliber that kind of room to play with. How can you not put any blame the defense/defensive game plan for the loss?

 

I give all the credit to the Saints coaching staff for putting together a great game plan and to their players for executing it well. They simply wanted it more and took it.

The Saints are pretty much the same team as the Colts, but in the NFC.
