If it's anything like going for a mortgage rate thru Quicken and other online sites, you WILL get a ton of spam. I'd create an email acct. But the same local agent's company came up both times for homeowners and auto. It wasn't the lowest so I'm not sure what caused the selection. Maybe he's on "the list'. I did switch to esurance because of it and now pay much less for auto. Edit: this was probably another quoting service that I used.
