Perchoutofwater
I've contemplated a similar feature at my house, mainly for a firing range and bar/video room... But, I don't have the money My next house will have something similar, primarily for my movie room, so I can listen to the surround sound as loud as I want to, whenever I want to, without my wife yelling "turn that crap down!" I won't go to the extent he did though.
dmarc117
I know a local concrete contractor that is building a 5000 square foot house with a 2500 square foot basement. The house sits on 75 acres on top of a hill. The basement will have a concrete pan slab as a roof, and two fire rated doors at both the top and bottom of the stairs. It will also have a tunnel that comes out 100 yards from the house at the bottom of the hill in a concealed area. He says that he is doing it for a storm shelter and that the tunnel is in case the house collapse on the entrance from the on grade level if hit by a tornado. i see the concrete biz is good in texas
Perchoutofwater
i see the concrete biz is good in texas This guy is someone who has worked his way up from nothing, and is now about 60, and has owned his on company for at least 30 years. He is very frugal, and when others were buying fancy cars and big houses, he was investing in equipment and also in rent houses. He deserves everything has gotten.
