These mofos ONLY care about getting re-elected and that's why we have a low income tax. Not to mention too many people (reps and senators) following the "party line"! GOD I hate politics and politicians! The constituency means nothing...vote the party line, f' the voters! My prediction is IF Quinn gets re-elected he will raise the income tax to 5%. The house across the street is for sale. Coming from California myself, I found it surprisingly easy to adjust to zero state income tax. Nothing feels better than not writing that check. That's what I was thinking - these folks are talking about raising the IL income tax, yet TX, TN, FL (the other couple/three states escapes me right now) are doing pretty well without one.
