disaman
Ok, So this is the first time I've picked at the end of the round in my PPR league. I usually pick in the middle. Any advice on what strategy to use? We start 1QB, 2RB, 2 WR 1 RB/WR, 1TE, 1K, and 1DEF. I've seen people go WR/WR and then QB/TE in the first few rounds to get 2 elite WR and an elite TE to make up for the lack of RB. I know people will say take the best available, but I'd like to know if the strategy changes at the end of the round instead of the beginning or middle? I'm thinking of WR/RB and then best available or maybe even RB/RB followed by RB/WR or WR/WR. I know that going RB/RB will put me at the end of a run, but many elite WRs are going before the 12th pick in mock drafts. What option do people like for the 12th pick in a 12 team PPR league: 1) WR/WR 2) RB/RB 3) WR/RB
Big Country
I'll choose RB/WR, but the answer truly is "Best Available". If there is a huge RB run in front of you and you are staring AJ and Moss in the face (or whomever you have as your top 2 WRs), then you could certainly go that route. If there is a crazy WR or QB push in front of you, then you could possibly see two strong value RBs there. Most likely it will be something like 7-8 RBs, 2-3 WRs and maybe a Qb in front of you and then it is a toss up on where you feel you can best find value later on.
