The teams have adjusted to only protect 1 player this season from their roster. Currently the following players are protected: Adrian Peterson, Frank Gore, Ray Rice, Chris Johnson, Andre Johnson and Peyton Manning. The League scoring is as follows: Offense: Passing Yards 25 yards per point Passing Touchdowns 4 Interceptions -1 Rushing Yards 10 yards per point Rushing Touchdowns 6 Reception Yards 10 yards per point Reception Touchdowns 6 Return Touchdowns 6 2-Point Conversions 2 Fumbles Lost -2 Offensive Fumble Return TD 6 Kickers: Field Goals 0-19 Yards 1 Field Goals 20-29 Yards 2 Field Goals 30-39 Yards 3 Field Goals 40-49 Yards 4 Field Goals 50+ Yards 5 Point After Attempt Made 1 Defensive Players: Tackle Solo 1 Tackle Assist .5 Sack 2 Interception 2 Fumble Force 1 Fumble Recovery 1 Defensive Touchdown 6 Safety 2 I am pretty sure I should protect a QB or RB but for a long term pool who should I protect. The league decided that they would only keep 1 player this year so that they could get a few more guys in and make it fair. So after those 6 guys anyone in the league is available to me.
