The company was going downhill and all my friends got laid off. I stayed on to finish some filter work for NASA and ate lunch with all the female assemblers building the filters. So I’m eating lunch at a table with about 10 women and one of them tells a story. She says her parents fixed her up with a Greek guy at 16 and had her marry him so he could get US citizenship. She then goes on to say he was a good looking guy but was gay.
