Supp guys. Ive got the fifth overall pick in a 12 team ppr league and Im not sure who to draft. Im assuming that rice, peterson, johnson, and mjd will be off the board. With those guys gone, do i take frank gore with the fifth pick, or should i be the first to jump on a wr and go with Andre Johnson?

Do a search. Quite frankly this is the most common question this season and there have been at least 4 or 5 really good threads that went in to extreme detail on this. I even went so far as to do a post detailing each of the first 7 picks from the position from an ADP perspective.

Your lineup requirements come in to play though, and that can have an effect on your decision.

I'm going to work my way through some of the other posts, and if I am still feeling awake, will do the search for you.

ETA:

Thread 1 On #5 Pick

Thread #2 on #5 pick

Very good thread on #5 pick

Now, after the final post on the last thread linked, which was made about a week ago, studying the ADPs and further discussion with my teammates, it is looking less likely that Grant or Charles will be there and more likely that one of Marshall, Austin or White will be there, which, if it went that way, would have me go WR in the 2nd and likely then go RB in the 4th.

This thread, looking at the 4 pick shows some of the updated thought process based on current ADPs and trends.
