Scooby
Caught a program on showtime (I think it was) called Nursery University, several yrs old documentary about the mad rush and all-encompassing desire of families with pre school kids to get accepted into some of New York's finest daycare establishments, the fervent desire of these families is like high school hopefuls trying to get into Ivy League schools, with the same great anticipation of the acceptance letter, to the depressing let-down of denial....I did a quick search of the rates for some of these schools (most based on a fall-spring tuition schedule) so here it is for a mere 9 to 10 months of school per yr for a pre-schooler: http://www.blackboardawards.com/downloads/..._Tuition_08.pdf one mentioned on the program but unavailable tuition fees on the above list was the City and Country Nursery School: http://cityandcountry.org/admissions/tuition/ But hey, you may get a grant to attend if u cannot afford it. Not real sure how the selection process works...
