chinatown dragons
Drafted Ryan Matthews more for his future potential as a franchise back, and hoped that he would at least put up decent numbers this year as well. Off to a slow start, and now has a high ankle sprain. MJD owner has offered me him, straight up, for Matthews, probably thinking along the same line as me; will be a good franchise back going forward. Who has more upside, not just for this year, but for years to come? A bigger Matthews, on a solid Chargers team, or a smaller back, that can be explosive but who's team is awful? (scoring is 1 pt every 10 yards rushing/receiving; 6 for a td, no PPC).
WashingtonD
Hey Chinatown how goes it brother? MJD doesn't look great this year, but the numbers don't lie, he's a straight stud in TD heavy leagues. I'd be very comfortable swapping Mathews for MJD and I think by the end of the year you'll have the better deal this year, and for the next couple. Best of Luck, WashD
BearBroncos
MJD might have another week or 2 of lousy games. Not do to his lack of talent, but merely a horrid team. Jacksonville should settle down and MJD will get those stellar numbers again. I'd make the trade. Mathews is still a question mark yet. We don't know if the Chargers will be a RBBC with the performance of Tolbert and there is still Sproles in the mix. Heck, you could end up with a Dallas type backfield....
