joeyb7 Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 Mendenhall has a tough matchup vs. the Bucs and Addai "might" be dinged a bit. Do I sub in Tolbert or Hightower for either? Is it possible that starting Tolbert and Hightower might be my best bet? In both cases, it seems like my backups might have better matchups (Tolbert @ SEA and Hightower @ OAK), but it's a tough decision. Any thoughts? You most likely won't get many chances to start Tolbert, and he actually does have a good matchup this week. So does Hightower. I've penciled in Tolbert, but is Hightower still a better pick than Mendenhall @ TB or a potentially dinged Addai in what should be a blow out game vs. DEN?? Mendenhall will struggle again. Remember his respectable game 1 stats got pretty for his line in OT. The Bucs have contained solid rushers in DeAngelo and J. Stewart. The Bucs D seems to do well against teams with bad passing attacks (Steelers) so Mendy will be running against 8 in the box all day and they'll put pressure on the old and slow Charlie Batch. The only fantalsy starter worth starting from Pitt in week 3 is the Pitt Defense. Hightower and Tolbert would be the best bet imo. It must be a tough choice having to bench Addai and Mendy but in reality these 2 aren't studs in my book so it's not like you're benching Gore or Sjax.
