I have a trade in my queue for Frank Gore for Jamaal Charles straight up.... what do you guys think? Gore has been underwhelming as of late, and with the OC change, I am not sure how to move forward. With so few true work horses in the league today I would stick with Gore just because barring injury he will continue to be the man in SF. burton Posted September 28, 2010 Share Posted September 28, 2010 That is crazy talk! Keep Gore! +1, both are good players but you know FOR SURE that Gore is going to be RB1 and not share carries. Pistolkid Posted September 28, 2010 Share Posted September 28, 2010 Gore is the clear number one back in that offense, and catches and runs the ball pretty good. Only problem with him is that he seems to have injury problems. Factoring all of that into account, you HAVE to pull the trigger on this trade. Jamaal Charles still splits with Thomas Jones and does not have more upside than Gore in anything I think. Charles will get less carries, less receptions and less yards IMO at the end of the year.
