Scourge
In my PPR league: FLEX: Hillis or Tolbert? WR3: Gaffney, Mike Thomas, or Manningham? Tough choices.. Thoughts?!
bigbass
Tolbert definitely based upon matchup. Pitt has held Turner, CJ,and Rice to 96 cumaltive rushing yards. Tolbert will still see 10-12 touches and all goal line work. How can you not start any Denver WR. Orton is red hot and they have NO rushing attack. Orton will post another 300+ game with multiple TD's. Gaffney is sure to get in on this action. Revis is hurt and Cromartie will be covering Lloyd. seif
I would go with Tolbert and Gaffney
Big Country
Gaffney for sure of the WRs. For flex, Hillis SHOULD get more touches than Tolbert, which means more opportunity, but the matchup is rough so it may not mean more production. Tolbert is the safer of the 2 in my opinion and likely where I would lean, but Hillis has the much higher upside if he is able to break one off or wear down the defense with his bruising style. While it's not the best matchup in the world, but given that it is a PPR league, have you given though to going Mike Thomas at flex over the RBs? If we agree that the likely production of the 2 backs is somewhere in the 50-60 yard range, with 2 catches and no score, were looking at an average of about 7-8 points, high side of 15 if one scores a TD. With Thomas, we are likely looking at 4-6 catches for 50-60 yards, which is a range of 9-12 most likely, with 15-18 if he gets a TD.
