Skippy
I played my very first round of golf with a guy that only had his left arm. I was 13 years old with a brand new set of Sam Sneed golf clubs. I actually peddled my bike out to one of the county golf courses, (about three miles), with my bag on my back. I got there and the starter asked a bunch of old guys if anyone minded taking a young boy out for his first round of golf. Most of these guys hid their heads and some shook violent left and right to indicate no effing way. Then a guy with one arm stepped up and said that he would take me. I thought to myself that this was going to suck. Boy was I wrong. This guy taught me more in that nine holes than most people learn in a lifetime. I have no idea what he shot but he did not have one single bad shot. Every shot was down the middle. His chipping was outstanding. Putting was very good. Now that I know a lot more about the game I would guess that he shot between 36-40 on that nine but he was one of the best people that I ever played with until I got much older. Chargerz
Seeing someone overcome a disability to actually excel at a sport is a story I really love.
