Capt. Stanky
Okay, so my team looked unbeatable over the first month of the season. The last two weeks I have been one of the bottom 3 scorrers. Allot of that is due to bye week issues, but the injury to Romo has me a bit concerned about Austin for the rest of the year. I do think I'm poised for a deep run in the playoffs (won it all last year), so I'd be willing to trade Austin at a bit of a discount. Here's a trade I have in the works: I give Austin, PThomas and Shank I get SSmith (NYG), Britt and Addai Am I giving up enough to get those 3 players? Here's my team: 8 team deep keeper (we keep up to 10 from year to year). QB's (start 2) Rivers, Brady, VY, Gradkowski, MHall RB's (start 2) AP, Foster, PThomas, DBrown, FJax, DWard WR's (start 3) AJ, Austin, Welker, MWilliams (TB), V-Jax TE's (start 1) Hernandez, Shank Am I panicing too soon? Should I sit on Austin for a couple more weeks to see what I have with him for the rest of the year? Whatcha think? Edited October 27, 2010 by Capt. chrisarmstrong07
I believe that Austin will still fare well as long as Kitna's #1 doesn't become Witten. Kitna may target Williams more at first, but that will just open up coverage on Austin. Give it a week or two so Kitna can get into practice with the offense and then see. Regardless, Austin will retain good value since it's a keeper league.
