bpwallace49
I will also say that I think the DREAM Act should be passed. I agree . . but I would add in the requirement that drug misdemeanors would also be deportable offenses.
gbpfan1231
I agree . . but I would add in the requirement that drug misdemeanors would also be deportable offenses. I thought the article mentioned they are? It says something about Other than Non Drug Misdemenaors - maybe read it wrong. Oh edit - nevermind - BP has me on ignore so he won't see my response. That Dream act seems pretty legit. Edited December 7, 2010 by gbpfan1231

bpwallace49
Too many loopholes. Like what specifically?
Clubfoothead
There's a lot not to like about the article but it could be Gerson's writing style. They aren't just mouths but hands and brains? That's great when there aren't just under 10 million people currently unemployed. I guess Gerson figures that problem will be fixed in the next two years while they are in the Navy? Seems like the current problem is too many available hands. Why are the illegals that would benefit from DREAM "our main source of future wealth"? Not sure I'm fond of the two year military service requirement either although I'm not sure why. I guess with everything else that seems to be currently keeping politicians busy, my biggest question is what's so pressing?
