The Holy Roller
Went to the matinee (because I'm a cheap bastage) to see The Help because the bride had just read the book and wanted to see the movie. In the audience the men were outnumbered 20-to-1 and some of them behind me were grumbling about being henpecked, etc. And the average age of the audience was maybe...60. The movie was TERRIFIC! I won't say anymore except that it's that rare film whose attraction is a great story, well crafted, and told by a mostly no-name cast who I believe are deserving of several awards. I'll be interested to see some of your thoughts. (Mrs. HR comes from a wealthy NYC family who had several black maids. She was so blubbery at the end of the flick we has to wait ten minutes to leave the theater.)
Square
So if I have to give in for a chick flick, this is one to go with? Thanks for the heads up.

I think you'll be suprised that it might not completely be in the chick flick category.
