Gourdeau Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 So I ended up with Deangelo Williams as my #3 RB which I will probably use as my flex. I just finished watching the Giants Panthers pre season re-air on NFL Network, and I really REALLY liked what little I saw from D Will. I know it's early, but he looked to be 100% over his injuries from last year, he was shifty, had a nice screen one big run for 16 yards I believe. The downfall of course with him is J Stew, and the fact that the panthers stink! BUT I'm still excited about how he looked. Am I over reacting on his short success from the game? I think Newton looked good and might surprise us all if he ends up the starter. I recall in 2008 when the Panthers won the NFC south, there was all kinds of talk about how bad the Panthers would be, they went 12-4, and although Delhome was terrible (3288, 15td, 12 int, 58% compl, 84% rate) D Will was healthy and flourished behind that solid O Line.
