The San Francisco 49ers have found common ground with RB Frank Gore on his request for a new deal, reaching a new three-year, $21 million deal that includes $13.5 million in guaranteed money. Gore will make $4.9 million in 2011. He said earlier in the day that he told his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, not to contact him until he felt the team was offering something fair. 'I want to be a Niner. I want to be here,' Gore said. Huddle Up: Of course he "wants to be a Niner". They all say that when the ink is drying. He wanted a new contract; whether that was with the Niners this year or some other team next year, it probably wouldn't have mattered. And you know Drew Rosenhaus would have made it happen. Now Gore can concentrate on football and you can expect a big season out of the now-happy Niner RB. This is neither here nor there really, but Gore wanted to play for the 49ers out of college and made that clear before he was drafted.
