Is there a Super Bowl curse starting?

Not a curse persay like those seem to be, but the team looking to host a Superbowl in their own backyard have had nothing but letdowns:

2010 - Miami - The Dolphins came off an 11-5 season the year before, but won just 7 games. Have not had a winning record since.

2009 - Tampa - Having won the NFC South the year before, the Bucs missed the playoffs (to the Saints and Falcons) at 9-7 and Gruden and GM were fired. Only won 3 games the next year, and have not made the playoffs since.

2008 - Arizona - Lost to the struggling division foe 49ers twice (2 of their 5 wins all season) to miss the playoffs by 1 game. However, it might be a stretch to call this a curse, with them going to the Superbowl in 2008, but maybe home-field Superbowl that year and they win it?

2007 - Miami - Again sought to improve on a winning season the year before, only to win just 6 games, after deciding to sign Culpepper instead of Drew Brees.

2006 - Detroit - Mooch was fired, Millen retained, Mike Williams drafted. Nuff said.

2005 - Jacksonville - Finally have a good season going after several years of failure, when Fred Taylor goes down and they're eliminated from contention the next week.

2004 - Houston - Made just a 1 game improvement on their previous season finish of 4-12.

2003 - San Diego - after starting off 6-2, lost 6 of their last 8 to miss the playoffs.

2002 - New Orleans - After making their first playoff berth a year prior, lost 9 games to miss the playoffs.

2001 - Tampa - After a heart-breaking NFC Championship loss the year prior, they missed the playoffs on the final week to Green Bay.

2000 - Atlanta - Having played in the Superbowl and gotten destroyed by the Broncos a year prior, the Falcons regressed greatly to 5-11, to continue a sad history of inconsistency. This Superbowl was also hampered by a somewhat rare ice storm.

1999 - Miami - The closest any of the teams listed so far have come and in fact the only one to make the playoffs, the Dolhpins went all the way to the divisional round, just to be destroyed 38-3 by the Broncos in one of Marino's last chances to win a ring.

2013 in New Orleans - HC and asst coach suspended plus players

2012 in Indianapolis - Peyton Manning does not play at all

2011 in Dallas - snow and ticket scandal with people being sent to the basement to watch due to unsafe seating

Any others?

Plus they shut down 4 entrances due to the snow and ice threat, which led to standing in mud for almost 3 hours to get in . .. . :smash:
