DMD Posted April 18, 2012 Share Posted April 18, 2012 I love this show. It is so out of bounds and unbelievable that I find it hilarious. Charlie Day plays the role of "Charlie" on that show and was recently a guest host on Saturday Night Live. He is not only a recurring character on the show, he is the executive producer and one of the writers. He is also married to Mary Elizabeth Ellis who is the waitress that he has an obsession with on the show (though she in turn is enamored with Dennis Reynolds). Day and Ellis appeared together in an episode of Reno 911. The credits at the end show Charlie, Mac and Dennis all wearing hoodies with music playing backwards. The music originally said " You are stupid for playing this forward" when it was reversed. It changes every season. Here is some trivia on the show Funny show.
